Thank You Cards

Last weekend was Simon's big two-year-old birthday bash and a good time was had by all. Simon managed to squeeze the fun in between a cold and an ear infection. Good timing, buddy!

I felt rather silly writing all of his thank you notes, as he is the one who is supposed to be expressing thanks. Of course, he can't write yet (or even dictate), but I felt that he needed to somehow be involved in the process. So, I brought out the crayons and had him go to town by making the illustrations on the front of the cards. Unfortunately, he is not as into the crayons as he is chalk, and it took three days to make eight cards. At least it's done.

And a big thanks goes out to my in-laws for the use of their camera, as mine is still in the shop.
